How To Find Keywords To Target For Your Local Business

Sometimes it can be hard to come up with new ideas to write about for your business. This article explores some tips to get you started.

For local businesses it’s important to build up your online reputation with Google. Most importantly, high star rating reviews from lots of happy customers will show Google you’re legit.

If you haven’t focused on getting high quality reviews, START NOW.

But … in addition to your reviews, you can write location specific articles that are about ANYTHING in your area of service.

For example, let’s say you’re a contractor in St. Louis Park that does Home Remodeling. You don’t need to stick to articles about home remodeling only … anything relevant to St. Louis Park is a good article to write because that helps Google know that you are part of (and interested) in the community.

You could target st louis park community center swimming lessons and highlight what you loved about sending your kids there. And link outward to their pages where people can signup. This is just an example of course, but you could write about ANY experience you have in your community … so long gas you can document it in a way that will provide value to the next person googling it.
